ISRO, RLV-TD, the Indian space shuttle / o shuttle espacial indiano.

ISRO, India's space agency, is a mirror of India's ambition and technological capability, which in recent years has astonished the world with its space projects and the extraordinary success of placing a spacecraft in the orbit of Mars, the Mangalyaan, on the first try.

A ISRO, a agência espacial da Índia, é o espelho da ambição e da grande capacidade tecnológica deste país, que nos últimos anos tem surpreendido o mundo com os seus projectos espaciais e com o sucesso extraordinário que foi a colocação de uma nave na órbita de Marte, a  Mangalyaan, à primeira tentativa.

While developing its future manned space capsule, Gaganyaan, which you may see in the images below, and that should fly the first astronauts into orbit between 2021 and 2022, there is another project that may surprise the world again in the the next few years, the RLV-TD, a space shuttle.

Enquanto desenvolve aceleradamente a sua futura cápsula espacial tripulada, a Gaganyaan, de que pode ter uma antevisão nas imagens em baixo, e que deverá colocar os primeiros astronautas em órbita entre 2021 e 2022, há outro projecto, que poderá surpreender de novo o mundo nos próximos anos, o RLV-TD, um shuttle espacial.

On 23 May 2016, ISRO launched a vehicle, about six times smaller than the eventual future space shuttle and the experience was a success, having ended with the return and landing of the small spacecraft 450 kilometers from the space port of Sriharikota.
If ISRO continues to develop this shuttle, the next few years will witness a tremendous increase in Indian activity in low Earth orbits and, who knows, beyond ...

Em 23 de Maio de 2016, a  ISRO lançou um veiculo, cerca de seis vezes mais pequeno do que o eventual shuttle espacial e a experiência foi um sucesso, tendo terminado com o regresso e aterragem do pequeno aparelho a 450 quilómetros do porto espacial de Sriharikota.
Se a ISRO continuar a desenvolver este shuttle, os próximos anos testemunharão um tremendo aumento de actividade indiana nas órbitas baixas terrestres e quem sabe, mais além...
