The death of cosmic objects, although associated with a destruction of fantastic proportions, is of a overwhelming beauty.
Below you can see, at various wavelengths, the remains of a star, the W49B supernova, a highly asymmetric but stunningly beautiful scenery,  that has probably created the youngest black hole in our galaxy.
