2018, será o ano do buraco negro? / will be the year of the black hole?

O EHT ( Event Horizon Telescope ) é um projecto internacional, que tem como objectivo a visualização, pela primeira vez, do Horizonte de Eventos de um buraco negro.
A observação decorreu durante o mês de Abril e é possível que as primeiras imagens surjam durante o próximo ano.
Os alvos foram Sagittarius A, um imenso buraco negro que reside no centro da nossa galáxia e o M87 um super massivo buraco negro que se esconde no núcleo da galáxia Virgo A.
Para já, temos apenas as simulações que os cientistas têm feito para antecipar aquilo que poderemos vir a ver...

The Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) is an international project that aims to visualize, for the first time, the Event Horizon of a black hole.
The observation took place during the month of April and it is possible that the first images will appear during the next year.
The targets were Sagittarius A, an immense black hole that resides in the center of our galaxy and the M87 a super massive black hole that hides in the nucleus of the galaxy Virgo A.
