ARCA Space Corporation, the attraction of space / a atracção do espaço.

Arca was born in Romania in 1999, founded by Dumitru Popescu and some university colleagues.

Later the company was moved to the United States where the sky is apparently closer and remains the promised land for all who dream with space.
At the moment, the Haas 2CA is the rocket built for tests, which can take place this year at the Wallops Flight Facility.
The Haas 2CA consists of a single stage, allegedly more economical and simpler than the other two- and three-stage rockets, all built of composite materials to be more resistsnt and lighter and propelled by a different engine, that was to be used in Space Shuttle but that was meanwhile abandoned by NASA, the so-called Linear Aerospike Engine, which in the case of ARCA, is called Executor Aerospike.
In the future, ARCA will be able to compete successfully in the market for the launch of small satellites, since they announce prices much lower than those of the competition and the possibility of maintaining a very high cadence of liftoffs, daily if necessary ...

Neste momento, o Haas 2CA é o foguetão construído para testes, que poderão ocorrer ainda este ano no Wallops Flight Facility.
O Haas 2CA é constituído por um andar único, alegadamente mais económico e mais simples do que os outros foguetões com dois e três andares, todo construído em materiais compósitos para ser mais resistente e leve e propulsionado por um motor diferente, que esteve para ser usado no Space Shuttle mas que foi entretanto abandonado pela Nasa, o chamado Motor Espacial Linear, que no caso da ARCA, se chama Executor Aerospike.
No futuro, se os testes correrem bem, a ARCA poderá competir com sucesso no mercado do lançamento de pequenos satélites, uma vez que anunciam preços muito mais baixos do que os da concorrência e a possibilidade de manterem uma cadência muito elevada de descolagens, diárias se necessário...
