Orbital ATK, develops heavy rocket / desenvolve foguetão pesado.

Orbital ATK is a company already known in the space domain, mainly by its cargo spaceship Cygnus, that has carried out refueling missions of the space station, and by its launchers, Pegasus, Minotaur and Antares.
At this time and with the aim of securing future orders from the American  military and not losing the small private market share it holds, Orbital ATK is developing a new rocket, the NGL or Next Generation Launch system.
The new vehicle is expected to be able to put 10 tons of cargo into Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO) and almost 8 tons in Geostationary Equatorial Orbit (GEO).

A Orbital ATK é uma empresa já conhecida no domínio espacial, sobretudo pela sua nave de carga Cygnus, que tem efectuado missões de reabastecimento da estação espacial, e pelos seus lançadores, Pegasus, Minotaur e Antares.
Neste momento e com o objectivo de garantir futuras encomendas das forças armadas americanas e particulares e não perder a pequena fatia de mercado que detém, a Orbital ATK está a desenvolver um novo foguetão, o NGL ou Next Generation Launch system.
O novo veículo, deverá ser capaz de colocar 10 toneladas de carga em Órbitas de Transferência Geossíncrona (OTG) e quase 8 toneladas em Órbitas Equatoriais Geoestacionárias (OEG).
