Stofiel Aerospace, the new space cowboys / Os novos cowboys do espaço.

The space is for Brian Stofiel the new west to explore and for this he has created a small company, Stofiel Aerospace, whose philosophy is simplicity, audacity and imagination.
With the encouragement of Mac's Old Team, a group of former engineers who designed and built the Project Mercury capsules for NASA, Brian Stofiel has developed a triple and inexpensive launch system for small satellites, the Boreas, which is basically a balloon that takes the rocket into the upper layers of the atmosphere, the rocket that is fully printed in 3D using simple plastic PLA printing and with a small solid fuel motor and a satellite carrying a wing, the Hyperion, capable of putting them into orbit or return to land with the cargo.
The first launch could happen this year, from the spaceport America, with the goal of reaching the 100 kilometers of altitude.

O espaço é para Brian Stofiel o novo oeste a desbravar e para isso criou uma pequena empresa, a  Stofiel Aerospace, cuja filosofia é a simplicidade, a audácia e a imaginação.
Com o incentivo do Mac's Old Team, um grupo de antigos engenheiros que desenharam e construíram as cápsulas do Project Mercury para a NASA, Brian Stofiel desenvolveu um sistema triplo e económico de lançamento de pequenos satélites, o Boreas, que é básicamente um balão que leva o foguetão até às camadas altas da atmosfera, o foguetão que é totalmente impresso em 3D usando simples plástico de impressão PLA e com um pequeno motor de combustível sólido e uma  asa para transporte do satélites, o Hyperion, capaz de os colocar em órbita ou de regressar a terra com a sua carga.
O primeiro lançamento poderá acontecer este ano, a partir do aeroporto espacial América, com o objectivo de atingir os 100 quilómetros de altitude.
