The Chandra X-ray Observatory collaborated intensively with the EHT in April 2017 to capture the first image of a black hole.This  NASA's space telescope has captured spectacular images of the infernal environment surrounding the gravitational phenomenon and the huge jet of high-energy particles that stretches over 1,000 light-years.

O Chandra X-ray Observatory colaborou intensivamente com o EHT, em Abril de 2017, para a captura da primeira imagem de um buraco negro. O telescópio epacial da NASA obteve imagens espectaculares do ambiente infernal que circunda o fenómeno gravitacional e do imenso jato de partículas de alta energia que se estende por mais de 1000 anos luz.
