Hayabusa2, uma complexa missão japonesa / Hayabusa2, a complex japanese mission
Hayabusa2 é uma nave da JAXA, propulsionada por um económico motor iónico, lançada em Dezembro de 2014 e que está neste momento a caminho do asteróide 162173 Ryugu, onde deverá chegar em 2018.
É uma missão delicada, que prevê largar uma pequena sonda e dois micro rovers na superfície do asteróide e após um ano e meio de análises recolher amostras de superfície e reenviá-las para a Terra.
Hayabusa2 is a JAXA spacecraft, propelled by an economical ion engine. Launched in December 2014 is currently on its way to asteroid 162173 Ryugu, which is due to arrive in 2018.
It is a delicate mission that will drop a small probe and two micro rovers on the surface of the asteroid and after a year and a half of analysis will collect surface samples and send them back to Earth.

The Ariane 5's VA239 flight was launched successfully and will drop two satellites, Intelsat 37e and BSAT-4a in their transfer orbits.

Quarta onda gravitacional detectada pelo LIGO / Fourth gravitational wave detected by LIGO
Pela primeira vez, a detecção de uma onda gravitacional, foi feita por três detectores espalhados pelo mundo, dois Ligo, um em Livingston, Louisiana e o outro em Hanford, Washington e um terceiro, Virgo, na Itália.
Esta onda, GW170814, produzida pela fusão de dois buracos negros a 1,8 bilião de anos-luz de distância chegou aos três detectores com milissegundos de diferença e a triangulação dos sinais recebidos, permitiu pela primeira vez em dois anos, localizar a sua origem com maior rigor.
For the first time, the detection of a gravitational wave was made by three detectors scattered around the world, two Ligo, one in Livingston, Louisiana and the other in Hanford, Washington and a third, Virgo, in Italy.
This wave, GW170814, produced by the merger of two black holes 1.8 billion light years away, reached the three detectors with milliseconds of difference and the triangulation of the signals received, allowed for the first time in two years to locate their origin with greater rigor.

James Webb Space Telescope, lançamento só na primavera de 2019 / launch only in the spring of 2019
No seu site, a Nasa informa que o lançamento do JWST se efectuará apenas na primavera de 2019, devido ao atraso na integração dos diversos sistemas do telescópio e respectivos testes.
Os amantes do espaço vão ter que esperar pacientemente até poderem ver as primeiras imagens deste telescópio espacial.
On its Web site, Nasa reports that the launch of JWST will take place only in the spring of 2019, due to the delay in integrating the various systems of the telescope and test activities.
Space lovers will have to wait patiently until they can see the first images of this space telescope.
