SpaceX, a full and exciting agenda for February. / uma agenda cheia e excitante para Fevereiro.

The next few weeks will be exciting and difficult for SpaceX. If they can meet the schedule, between regular releases and the inaugural launch of the Falcon Heavy, technicians from the company of Elon Musk will have much to do.
On 30 January, a Falcon 9 with a Luxembourg military satellite, SES 16 / GovSat 1, will be launched.
On February 6 the Falcon Heavy will be launched for the first time.
February 10 will be the turn of a Spanish satellite, aboard a Falcon 9.
On 14 February, another Falcon 9 is to put into orbit the Hispasat 30W-6, a communications satellite.

As próximas semanas vão ser excitantes e difíceis para a SpaceX. Se se cumprir o calendário previsto, entre lançamentos normais e o lançamento inaugural  do Falcon Heavy, os técnicos da empresa de Elon Musk vão ter muito que fazer.
No dia 30 de Janeiro, vai ser lançado um Falcon 9 com um satélite militar do Luxemburgo, o SES 16 / GovSat 1.
No dia 6 de Fevereiro poderá ser lançado pela primeira vez o Falcon Heavy.
Dia 10 de Fevereiro será a vez de um satélite espanhol, a bordo de um Falcon 9.
Dia 14 de Fevereiro, mais um Falcon 9 deverá colocar em órbita o Hispasat 30W-6, um satélite de comunicações.

Ariane 5, troubled launch / lançamento atribulado

The European Ariane 5 rocket placed 2 communications satellites, SES 14 and Al Yah 3, in orbit, but after losing the telemetry due to a deviation of the route.
The satellites are in provisional orbits, but apparently functioning well and able to rise to optimal orbits.
In 2019, the James Webb Space Telescope is due to be released by an Ariane 5, which increases the responsibility of Arianespace and the urgency to realize what went wrong with this launch ...


O foguetão europeu Ariane 5 colocou 2 satélites de comunicações, SES 14 e Al Yah 3, em órbita, depois de perder a  telemetria devido a um desvio da rota.
Os satélites estão em órbitas provisórias, mas aparentemente a funcionar bem e capazes de subir para órbitas óptimas.
Em 2019, o James Webb Space Telescope deverá ser lançado por um Ariane 5, o que vem ampliar a responsabilidade da Arianespace e a urgência de se perceber o que correu mal com este lançamento...

Nasa InSight, to measure the pulse of Mars / para medir o pulso de Marte.

NASA's InSight mission does not have the spectacularity of the others that the American organization has sent through the solar system, but it is equally important.
The probe will hit the red planet and just like the previous Phoenix, which landed on the planet in 2008, will be quiet.
Its mission is to study the interior of Mars and for this is equipped with instruments to analyze the tectonic and seismic activity of the planet, its interior temperature and rotation.
It should be launched in May this year, aboard an Atlas V rocket.

A missão InSight da Nasa, não tem a espectacularidade das outras que a organização americana tem enviado pelo sistema solar, mas é igualmente importante.
A sonda vai poisar no planeta vermelho e tal como a anterior Phoenix, que aterrou no planeta em 2008, vai ficar quieta.
A sua missão é estudar o interior de Marte e para isso está equipada com instrumentos para analisar a actividade tectónica e sísmica do planeta, a sua temperatura e rotação.
Deverá ser lançada em Maio deste ano, a bordo de um foguetão Atlas V.

SpaceX, Falcon Heavy has already accelerated the engines / Falcon Heavy já acelerou os motores

The 27 Falcon Heavy engines have already been tested. Attached to the launch pad the giant rocket released about 92 percent of its power. We now need to know if the test has met all the requirements. If so, we will have the launch of the worlds largest rocket within a few weeks.

Os 27 motores do Falcon Heavy já foram testados. Preso à rampa de lançamento o gigantesco foguetão libertou cerca de 92 por cento da sua potência. Falta agora saber se o teste preencheu todos os requisitos. Se sim, teremos o lançamento do maior foguetão actual dentro de poucas semanas.

Rocket Lab, extraordinary success of the small Electron / sucesso extraordinário do pequeno Electron.

The Rocket Lab managed to put his rocket in space and the two CubeSats of Global Spire in orbit. It is a remarkable event in the conquest of space, with another private company winning a place in a medium as competitive and difficult as this.

A Rocket Lab conseguiu colocar o seu foguetão no espaço e os dois CubeSats da Spire Global em órbita. É um acontecimento marcante  na conquista do espaço, com mais uma empresa privada a conquistar um lugar num meio tão competitivo e difícil como este.
